Allah Ta’ala revealed to Nabi Daawood (alayhis salaam): “O Daawood! The Aashiq (the Lover of Allah) spends his life with the command of Allah Ta’ala and with tolerance. The Aarifeen (those who have attained lofty stages in Divine Recognition) pass their lives with the kindness of Allah Ta’ala. The Siddiqeen (those who never sin) live perpetually in the divine blanket of Love. Allah Ta’ala nourishes them (directly).”
