Hadhrat Isa (Alayhis Salaam) travelled alot, he moved from town to town propagating his Deen and his popularity and religion started to spread amongst the people. The Jews regarded his increasing popularity to be a threat to them and therefore turned the king of the time against him by claiming that Hadhrat Isa (Alayhis Salaam) was altering the teachings of the Torah and turning people away from religion. The king eventually issued orders that Hadhrat Isa (Alayhis Salaam) was to be arrested and crucified. Hadhrat Isa (Alayhis Salaam) was with his disciples in a house when soldiers surrounded the house to capture him. All of the disciples managed to escape and Hadhrat Isa (Alayhis Salaam) was physically raised out of the house and taken to the heavens. When the soldiers sent one of their men inside the house, Allah Ta’ala transformed his appearance into that of Hadhrat Isa (Alayhis Salaam). The Jews were therefore fooled into believing that he was Hadhrat Isa (Alayhis Salaam) and had him crucified.
